Irresistibly In Love

Mehendi is a traditional ceremony in India. It is mostly celebrated by the bride's family. The ceremony includes applying of mehendi or henna on the bride's hand by some relative or henna designers. It is also celebrated by the groom's family where the family members apply a little mehendi on the groom's hand and enjoy the day with aunties playing dholak and singing geet.

The backyard was prepared beautifully by Saif. It was decked in white orchids and blue draperies. The lighting adding a spark to the décor. The chairs were systemically kept, giving the entire backyard a royal look. Everyone were mesmerised looking the preparation. The girls looked in Aww. The elders were pleased because Saif had done a good job, but the person himself was missing.

"Masha Allah." Farah exclaimed looking around while everyone started praising Saif, for his amazing work.

Rida couldn't help but feel a little happy on Saif's effort. She knew he was perfect for her best friend but couldn't she enjoy a little looking how hard can he try to get Safa back in his life.

"He did a great job." Rida said looking at Farheen, smiling while she nodded her head.

"Alhamdulillah blessed with the best jeej." Farheen said giggling slightly and Rida couldn't help but agree in her heart but wouldn't show it.

"Whoa, Masha Allah Saif did an amazing work." Rehan said walking inside while everyone turned to him hoping for Saif.

"Yes indeed, he isn't like you." Farheen remarked while Rehan was about to fire back his sarcastic remark but kept quiet when he saw Rida eyeing her.

"Where is Saif, Rehan?" Rida asked Rehan walking towards him.

"I have no idea." He said showing his eyes to Rida and she instantly got what he meant.

"Oh okay." Rida said and Rehan smiled at her.

"You look beautiful." He said smiling at her and she blushed a little.

Rida was wearing a navy blue Maxi skirt and a white coloured blouse that was perfectly tucked inside her skirt. She was wearing a nearby blue hijab that covered her making her feel comfortable.

She was hesitant on wearing some colour, because she never did it great with colours, but her mom had actually scolded her and had warned to wear anything but not dull colours. She has sighed and when she was searching for a dress, Safa's mother had gifted her a dress saying she would be upset if she wouldn't wear the gift and here she was sulking in this dress, that was amazing but not meant for a girl like Rida, who preferred black over everything.

"You don't look that bad either." Rida said eyeing his navy blue pant and a white formal shirt.

She never was good at complimenting boys, and face to face? She sucked it at badly but she could be good in chats, though.

"I'm honoured." He said sarcastically bowing a little making her flip her hijab, that was a rare scene, because she would hardly make any comments.

"Well you deserve a little praising too." She said and he glared at her. She had started opening to him and he liked that side of her much.

"I'm always praised." He said smirking at her, trying to know what would she comment mark on such a thing.

"Yeah, but you know there's a difference' between dreams and reality." She said smiling cheekily at him and he was amazed to see how much she had in her that she was hiding. He was now eager to know more of this girl in front of him.

"Girls die for me." He said folding his arms wanting to prove her wrong, and maybe just talk a little more to her.

"Mistaken. They die because of you. Look at you how ugly you are. You should be happy that you have me at least otherwise you would have been sulking in this world." He said and he looked at her with his jaw dropped.

This girl knew how to shut his mouth. She clearly knew some comebacks for his sarcastic remarks.

"Close your mouth. And don't look at me like that." She said and he raised his eyebrow at her.

"Don't look at you like what?" He asked flirting with her and she narrowed her eyes at him.

He had talked to many girls, but Rida was different. She never tried falling for him or either showing any ounce of interest in him. It was him who had initiated the conversation with her after their first meet up but even after that she was hesitant to talk to him and he understood her because she was far away different from other girls, who would pretend to fall in love with him just because of his money.

"Rehan." She called out his name with a warning in it but he look a step closer.

He could see that she was nervous. She had many guys flirt with her, but she never did reply to them back and she would simply shut them out either by calling brother or by just simply changing the topics.

"Yes best friend?" He smiled at her to see her face flushed.

"I got to go." She said and turned around to leave, her heart beating rapidly at his tactics , when Rehan called out to her.

"Rida?" She turned to him, with her head hung low, biting her lips in nervousness, seeing him stare at her.

"I'm blessed to have you." He said and Rida couldn't help but smile hearing him.

Never had anyone told her this. Not even him. She could see that Rehan was different from him but she couldn't help but feel insecure. She wanted to tell him that back but it was like something was stopping her. She didn't knew what it was, whether her Insecurity or her previously broken friendship.

She gazed at Rehan who was smiling at her and she could see nothing but truth in his eyes. He was not playing games with her. Even though he was the top most businessman for whom many girls fell, he chose her to be his friend, his best friend. She opened her mouth to say something to him, when they were interrupted by Farheen.

"Do you know where jeej is? Everyone is asking about him." Farheen said while they looked at each other. Rida smiled at Farheen and then back at Rehan but he was pissed on Farheen because he had seen Rida open her mouth to say something, when she interrupted.

"He is with Safa." Rida said pointing to the room upstairs where Safa and Saif were, while Farheen made an oh face understanding that they needed their privacy.

"Okay. By the way what are you doing here?" Farheen asked Rida and before Rida could speak, Rehan spoke.

"Can't you see we were talking." Rehan snapped at Farheen and she raised her eyebrow at Rida who was looking, glaring at Rehan for talking rudely to Farheen for no reason.

"Talking huh?" Farheen asked Rida and she nodded her head, smiling at Farheen.

"Is there something going on between you'll?" She asked making Rida and Rehan look at her with wide eyes.

She was always just like her sister, blunt an would clear things out instead of pondering over it, and letting herself have an headache.

"No." Rida said dragging Farheen not able to meet Rehan's gaze and not wanting to be more embarrassed and not to embarrass Rehan as well.

But Rehan could hear his heart beating rapidly at Farheen's question

"Ya Allah isn't she home today?" Saif whispered to himself looking around for Safa but couldn't find her.

He had looked for her in the entire house but hadn't found her and he was getting anxious with each moment. He had even asked Rida where Safa was and when she had told her that she was in her room, he had ran thinking he had not checked but to his bad luck he did not found her and now he was getting more impatient to see her.Suddenly out of nowhere he bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry." He heard Safa's voice and he looked up to see rubbing her head.

He took in her attire. She was wearing a navy blue Maxi skirt with a light grey colour blouse that was tucked inside her blouse. She was wearing a blue and grey coloured hijab that made her outcome her look. He looked at her hand to see her not wearing anything in them.

"It's not at all okay." He said and took a step forward with a smirk on his face. Safa looked up at him and glared at him but looked at him.

He was wearing a navy blue pant and a grey shirt. She looked at her and his attire. They both were wearing matching outfit. She didn't knew if it was just a mere coincidence or that they were made to wear like that.

"Not my fault." She said shrugging and turned around to leave but Saif was quick enough to hold her hand.

"Where do you think you are going?" He asked her wrapping his arms around her waist and she looked at him with wide eyes.

"Downstairs." She said looking around for anyone but sighed in relief when she found none.

"What do you want?" Safa asked struggling in his arms while he pulled her more closer leaving no space in between.

"I want you Darling." Saif said smiling at her and Safa couldn't help but blush at his words.

"Leave me someone will come." Safa said and tried moving away and Saif left her but did not leave her hand.

"Come with me." He said and started walking towards her room with Safa behind him.

"Everyone might be searching for us." She said looking tensed.

Saif closed the door of his room and caged Safa between him and the wall. Safa could feel her heart pacing. He looked at her intensely. His dark eyes bored into her brown eyes. He caressed her cheek with his right hand while his left hand was firmly holding Safa's hand.

Saif gently moved towards Safa and she closed her eyes. He kissed her forehead letting his lips linger more than a minute. Safa stood in his embrace enjoying the moment, not wanting it to end. He pulled back from her and looked at her to see her eyes closed.

"Safa." He called out to her in his deep husky voice and Safa slowly opened her eyes.

She looked at him with a smile on her face. He smiled back at her and leaned forward wanting to kiss her again. He kissed her again and this time the kiss was different. It was soft and sweet. It was mark of his trust towards her. His loyalty towards her. And her love towards her. She could feel his love in those kisses but she still had her doubt. She did not wanted herself to be hurt. She wanted to know how he felt about her.

"I should go." She said not wanting to bust at him without his fault. She knew it was her mood swings that were making her go mad but she couldn't help.

"How about a kiss? A real one?" Saif said pouting a little and Safa couldn't help but feel her mood changing instantly.

"No." She said playing with him but he obliged and left her making Safa ogle at him.

"It's okay." He said smiling at her half heartedly but wouldn't show it to her. She couldn't help but feel blessed to have a husband like him.

She moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around him. He eyed her moves and moved away when Safa leaned in.

"You don't have to." He said and Safa glared at him.

"Don't ruin my mood now." Safa said glaring at him and he chuckled.

She was always the bold one.

"You could have just said that you wanted a kiss." He said smirking at her and wrapping his arm around her waist bringing her closer to him.

"If you don't want to give me a kiss, I'll go and ask someone else." She said smiling sheepishly at him.

"Don't." He said glaring at her and tightening his hold on her.

"What?" She asked battling her eyes innocently at him and he glared at her.

"Don't play with me Safa." He said and brought her closer to him.

"Now would you do the honour or should I myself?" Safa asked him and he smiled at her boldness. The thing for which he had actually married her. Her fearless attitude.

He waited for Safa to take a move. She slowly with her eyes gazing into his, leaned in and initiated the kiss. The kiss was slow and passionate. She tried showing her love to him with a mere kiss. The kiss was soft and a small one but they both smiled on the effect.

"That was magical." He said smiling at her and she looked down at their feet blushing furiously.

"You are becoming naughty day by day." He remarked smirking at her.

"Well I cannot help it." She said winking at her and he was happy that she was being comfortable around him.

"No you may go my lady." He said kissing her forehead and she smiled.

"Thank You so much." She said smiling at him.

He backed away from her making space for her to leave. She slowly started walking away from him but he caught hold of her hand. She turned around to him confused.

"What happened?" She asked him and he smiled at her and left her hand.

"Nothing." He said and she smiled at him and turned around walking away rapidly.

She was already flushed from the events when she bumped into Aliya.

She looked at Aliya to see her grinning widely. They both raised their eyebrow and couldn't help but laugh.

"Why are you grinning?"

"Why are you blushing?

They both asked each other, different question at the same time.

"I finally told mom that I'm in love." Aliya said not able to handle her happiness.

"Whoa Masha Allah. When did that happen?" Safa said happy for her cousin.

"Love at first sight." Aliya said sighing dreamily and Safa could feel her happiness.

"Alhamdulillah I'm happy for you. But do the boy likes you too?" Safa asked and Aliya nodded her head furiously.

"I think he does too." Aliya said and Safa looked at her confused.

"Think?" Safa asked her and Aliya blushed.

"Yeah actually I have always seen him staring at me. He always smiles at me. And he even told me, that I'm beautiful." Aliya said blushing furiously and Safa nodded her head.

"Aww, may Allah bless you." Safa said and hugged her cousin.

"And what did chachi say?" Safa asked and Aliya's smile dropped.

"She said she first have to talk to everyone and to him too." Aliya said and Safa nodded her head.

"Fair enough." Safa said smiling at Aliya.

"But I'll marry him only, that's final." She said and Safa could feel the fire in her eyes.

"Calm down girl. If he is meant for you he will be yours and if not... " Safa couldn't complete her statement because of Aliya.

"If not then I'll make him mine. " Aliya said a sense of jealously hitting her.

Safa did not reply and was about to walk away when Aliya called her,

"Safa?" She turned around to see Aliya staring at her.

"Stay away from him." Aliya said making Safa confused.

"What are you saying?" Safa asked Aliya.

"Don't act innocent. I have seen you staring at him." Aliya said and Safa was now more confused.

"What are you talking Aliya? I am unable to understand anything." Safa said.

"I'm just telling you to stay away from Saif because he is mine." Aliya said and Safa felt the ground beneath her skip.

"What?" Safa hardly whispered and Aliya smirked.

"I knew you always had eyes for him but your bad I talked to mom and now they'll let me marry Saif." Aliya said smirking at Safa.

"That's not gonna happen." Safa said a sense of jealously hitting her.

"That's gonna happen and I'll let that happen." Aliya said and after glaring at Safa she walked away and all Safa could do was stare at her.
