Safa and Rehan looked at Rida in anger while she tried calming down. Farheen stood there confused not knowing anything. Saif left the room, hurt which did not go unnoticed by anyone.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?" Rehan yelled and Rida jumped a little at his voice.

"DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID!?" Rida exclaimed not in the mood of giving up.

Rehan was shocked to see a different Rida. The Rida he knew was quiet, reserved and shy but here she was yelling. Safa couldn't help but feel proud to see her friend standing up for someone but she did not want her to hurt her husband in any form and she didn't like it. Farheen ogled at Safa, to see her this avatar for the first time. She had always seen Rid either smiling, blushing or just reserved. She never was the one who would yell at someone, and that too in anger. Yes she had seen her sister and Rida fight but those would always been won by Safa because, Rida would end the game, saying she cannot stand against Safa.

"What did he do?" Rehan asked sceptically looking between Safa and Rida.

"He... " Rida was about to say but then she realised Farheen knew nothing so kept quiet.

"What happened?" Rehan asked confused to see Rida quiet.

"Come and Farheen you go and check everything." Rida said and before she could protest Safa eyed at her and she left without uttering any other word.

The trio entered their room and Rida told her each and every word. Rehan knew about the marriage but about the night, he did not know about it even a single detail. He was beyond shocked listening to his friends tactics and he could see the tears rolling down Rida's face and Safa standing still with her head hung low.

"How could he do that?" Rehan whispered while Rida continued crying and Safa took her in her embrace.

"I never wanted to hurt Saif, I know Safa loves him and he loves Safa too but what he did, was not right. He should realise his mistakes. I know I was harsh on him but he should know what he has and he should try harder to have her." Rida said wiping her tears while Rehan looked at her and he felt something string in his heart.

Rida was looking out for Safa. She wanted to know whether he deserved her or no. Rehan could see their friendship. He understood Rida because if someone would do something bad to Saif he would have reacted in a much more worse way. He did not blame Rida for hurting Saif.

"I don't know about you'll but I can see the change in him. He has had a bad past and that was the reason he was like this but I can see the change in him after Bhabhi." Rehan said looking at them and they looked at him.

"I won't take his side, but give him a chance, don't be harsh on him. He is changing for better." Rehan said looking at the girls.

"And what if he hurt Safa again?" Rida whispered her eyes big after crying and Rehan couldn't help but stare at her.

"He won't and I'm sure about it." He said smiling at Rida and she ponder over it for a few seconds.

"I know that." Safa whispered absent minded and they both looked at her and she had a small smile on her face which did not go unnoticed.

"Okay." Rida said looking at her smile.

All she wanted was her best friend to be happy in her life and if her happiness was Saif then she wouldn't do anything wrong, that can harm their relationship. If something goes wrong because of her then she wouldn't forgive herself.

"But if he hurt her I'm not going to leave him." Rida said glaring at Safa while she rolled her eyes at her best friend who was showing herself as the strongest girl who can beat a any guy.

"As if you can do anything, my naazuk kali." Safa said looking at Rida smiled at her sheepishly, because she herself knew she cannot do it. Hitting a guy will never be her thing.

"I can beat him." Rida said still trying to prove her friend wrong, while showing her biceps through her dress, while Safa laughed and Rehan looked at her amazed.

"Yeah you can beat him but what about those days when boys use to run after you and you couldn't..... " Safa was about to complete her statement when Rida's eyes widen.

"DON'T." Rida yelled getting up from her seat while shutting Safa's mouth with her hand, eyeing Rehan who looked at Rida in shock on the information.

"Aww now what happened?" Safa asked, removing Rida's hand and pinching Rida's cheek while she huffed, but with her face red..

"Nothing don't get that topic." Rida said red due to embarrassment.

"Okay I think I should leave." Rehan said looking at them while they nodded their head.

"And Rida don't worry, if he ever hurt Bhabhi I'll beat him up for you." He said smiling at Rida while she smiled back him a small blush creeping up her face, because of the topic they just had in front of Rehan, whom she considered a good friend.

"Thank you best friend." She said smiling wide at him, trying to maintain her facial expression.

"Anytime best friend." He said winking at her leaving Rida to blush profoundly.

She never was the girl who would go good with guys and that was the reason she maintained her distant with them but with Rehan, she had started opening up and Safa was shocked to see her best friend open up to any boy. She never had any boy best friend expect for the one person who had pained her, but Safa was happy for her best friend opening up to someone.

Safa looked between the two with a raised eyebrow. She always loved teasing Rida, because she hardly would get any chance to see her blush. Rida was the shy one in their friendship and would always go red whenever anyone would tease her, whether that be any way, just a random teasing or by boy's name.

"Whoa, what was that?" Safa asked after Rehan left while Rida looked at her confused.

"What?" Rida asked looking at Safa confused who was smirking at her.

"Best friends, huh? " Safa asked and she nodded her head.

"Yes best friend." Rida said smiling and Safa nodded her head.

She did not understand how could Rida best friend him, when they hardly knew each other while it had taken almost two months for Rida to be friends with Safa, while a year to be friend, Aafia, their third partner.

"But when did that happen?" Safa asked and Rida just shrugged her shoulder not wanting anyone to know about how they had met each other and ended up being best friends.

But it's always said a boy and a girl can never be friends!

Saif changed his clothes thinking about what Rida told. He couldn't help but agree with her. He was busy thinking about his past when Rehan entered the room furiously.

"What the hell Saif? What did you do Bhabhi? How could you? You put her through the pain that... " He stopped midway not wanting to complete the statement and Saif shivered.

"I know." Saif whispered defeated.

"How could you Saif?" Rehan asked softly knowing his state of mind.

"I wasn't thinking Rehan. I genuinely am sorry for that night." He said a lump forming in his throat while Rehan looked at him with painful eyes.

"I know Saif you cannot hurt anyone purposely." Rehan said and with that sat besides Saif.

They both did not utter anything. They both were lost in their painful past.

"How can someone be so cruel?" Rehan whispered and Saif looked at him with unshed tears.

Saif had a painful past and he knew that had a big impact on his life. That was the reason he never allowed anyone to dominate him, except now. But he knew Rehan had suffered more in his life, but that hadn't changed him. He always tried making people around him happy, even though he was shuttered inside.

"Rehan." Saif called out to Rehan who was lost in his thought and a tear slipped his eye, for the first time after those days.

"Yeah?" He asked suddenly getting up and wiping the tear and smiling at him.

"Bhai... " Saif didn't knew what to say so he just hugged him.

"Why being so sentimental brother?" Rehan asked patting his shoulder while Saif smiled.

"Nothing." He said.

"Now listen to me very carefully." Rehan said suddenly getting serious and Saif looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Aye aye captain." He said mock saluting him while Rehan rolled his eyes.

"Do not hurt Bhabhi again ever." Rehan said pointing a finger and Saif nodded.

"I promise." He said showing his fist and Rehan bumped his fist.

"Or I won't hesitate to kill you." Rehan said smirking at him while Saif rolled his eyes.

"You love me to not kill me." Saif said raising his collar.

"And one more thing." Rehan said ignoring his remark.

"Yes sir?" Saif said narrowing his eyes.
"Tell Bhabhi that you love her as soon as possible." Rehan said smirking at him while Saif looked at him, with his jaw dropped.

"How do you know?" He asked gaining his compose.

"Everyone can see that." Rehan said shrugging his shoulder.

"Am I transparent?" Saif thought and as if reading his mind Rehan said,

"No you are just predictable."

"Yeah yeah now go to your new best friend Aliya." Saif said eyeing him while Rehan looked at him confused.

"Aliya?"

"Yeah Aliya, I saw the way she was smiling at you." Saif said smirking at him making Rehan more confused.

"And who told you that we are best friends?" Rehan asked and Saif looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You yourself." Saif said looking at him while Rehan narrowed his eyes.

"When did I tell you that?" He said folding his arms.

"You said that day that you got a best friend here and that day only Aliya was smiling at you so I put the two together." Saif said making Rehan sigh.

"You are mad. She is not my friend. I don't even talk to her." He said and Saif was now confused.

"Then why did she smile at you?" Saif asked Rehan and he smirked.

"You know I'm handsome so maybe." He shrugged while Saif shook his head.

"You are never gonna change." Saif said rolling his eyes but deep inside his heart, he smiled looking at his best friend cum brother happy.

"Whatever, so who is your best friend then?" Saif asked and he did see the shine in Rehan's eyes.

"Rida." He said smiling and Saif remembered the past events.

"Don't worry, she was just looking out for Safa. She did not mean whatever she said." Rehan said patting his arm while he looked at him unsure.

"She was actually right." Saif whispered and Rehan smacked his head.

"Now don't start, we have a function to attend and I told you she was just looking for her. She is a good girl." Rehan said and Saif smirked at Rehan.

"You sure she is your best friend only?" Saif smirked and Rehan's face heated up.

He may talk to girls, but whenever Saif would tease him by any girl's name he couldn't help his face heating up. It never did go good with him.

"Yeah, now don't start with any topic I'm leaving." Rehan said and walked out to see Farheen walking towards their room.

He glared at her while she glared back at him. He was not in any mood to fight with her so without speaking anything he walked past her when his eyes fell on his best friend.

He couldn't help but smile looking at his best friend. He knew they were just the opposite. While she was the reserved one he was the one who loved making new friends, and he was glad that he had started talking to her and clearly knowing that they could understand each other, well. Very well. And they both knew they could be the best of friends which they had already are.

He did not stare at her, not wanting anyone to think something. He walked down the stairs joining the boys, making everyone laugh on his lame jokes.

He never was the guy who believed in love at first sight but he always believed in love. But with his dark past and his sufferings he did not wanted to get anyone in trouble. He was happy being a single. But his heart? Well you never know who your heart may fall in love and you cannot just control it.

He was not listening to his heart that was speaking things out loudly. He pretended to be obvious of it. He did not wanted his life to be complicated and wanted it to be simple, with just his best friends. Saif and Rida. He was happy being their best friend but not his heart. His heart yearned for more. The heart wanted a family. His own family who would love him. Who would look after him. And when his gaze lingered over Rida who was sitting quietly hearing the girl, gossip he couldn't help but see his entire life in front of him. But he did not wanted to destroy their friendship, their bond that was anything, but pure.

While his heart was beating for someone, there was another heart that was yearning for his and He was blind to even noticed that a girl had fallen head over heels in love with him.
