● SAMAIRAS P.O.V ●It has been a few days since Ryan came here. He has not met anybody officially yet. I let him be, have his space, and take time to come out whenever he is ready. It does not mean that i am any less excited to let everyone meet him, i know they will like him and eventually love him and respect him as a leader. I have also noticed that he is very shy or reserved in nature, maybe due to the fact he was an omega in his pack.Usually omegas are shy and less talkative.
But i can't help the nagging feeling that there is more to it. Also he does not need to feel less than or inferior to anybody here, since he is there Alpha Male now and also we dont discriminate here based on ranks in my pack. Every single person of my pack is equal to me. We are like a large extended family together. Another thing is that i have not been able to spend much time with him recently due to the increase in number of rogue sightings near our border. The problem is that they dont attack, they just stay a little far and observe us like thay are planning something. And so many of my warriors have been uneasy since then. On top of that i had a huge load of paperwork to do. So that is why i am currently in my office thinking about him and not being able to do any work. Ugh. I seriously need to get a grip on myself soon. This can't go on. My wolf Aurora whins inside my head again for the hundreth time today i think, " I miss mate. Want him near. Go to mate human. " Damn, all of this is giving me a headache now and i am not able to think anything straight. I need to take a break and spend time with Ryan, its still half past 1 so i still have pretty much a whole day.With this thought in mind i get out of my office in the ground floor and move towards my floor. I should probably surprise Ryan. I wonder what he must be doing right now. I see a lady named Anaya carrying some freshly plucked roses inside the pack house from the garden.I should probably take one for Ryan from her. " Ahm, Anaya can i have a red rose please, if you don't mind. " yes i can be sweet to others too. " Ofcourse Alpha, here. " wow. Its so beautiful. Hope Ryan loves it. I know i sound so cheeky, clingy but who cares. I reach our personal floor where Ryan has been cooped up since he came here.
Like seriously that man need to chill down and leave it a little.
Even i dont stay there that long. As soon as i enter i am bombarded with my mates soothing smell and another female smell. Someones here is the first though through my mind.
I dont like people coming on my floor unless i ask them too, even the people who come to clean do work when i am not there and leave quickly . Being a single child growing up had its effects on me, i dont like sharing at all and i am a little too possesive over my things. As i get closer to the living room i can hear sounds of laughter too.As i round the corner and enter the living room i am greeted by Ryan and his friend Ananya, the girl who came with us. Oh, he must have invited her over.
I know that she has a mate, specifically my gamma and also is just Ryan's friend but still i can't shake the feeling of jealousy over Ryan being so close and carefree with her. I want to achieve that comfort level with him someday. Ryan senses me enter the room first, these mate senses you know, he turns his head to look over at me. He smiles at me, a genuine big smile, gets up and comes over to me. He reaches close to me and hesitantly hugs me, as if afraid i will say no to him.As if my wolf will let me too, or will i even want to. But i am not telling him that. I hug him back inhaling his scent more and nuzzling my face in his broad chest inhaling his scent more so as to calm both me and wolf. He pulls away after a few seconds and lightly kisses on my forhead. Sparks erupt everywhere he touches, and i am in love with it again.He still held my hand, and i let him. " I invited her over to watch some movies and to catch up on the last few days, i hope you don't mind. I know i should have asked you first though, afterall its your place. " when he was looking at me like that with innocence coverong his eyes and also giving me free kisses, then how can i say no to him for anything. " No i don't mind. AND this is OUR place. You can invite anybody as long as they are not a threat to my mate, aka you. " i said emphasizing on our." Ok. Come on then, have some choclate cupcakes and cookies i made. " he said pulling me with him towards the couches. He sat down near the table where he was sitting earlier, it was a one seater and i really didnt want to be away from him so i choose to sit down in his lap. Making myself comfortable there after wiglling some i took one cupcake and started eating it.
The taste of choclate exploded in my mouth. It was so damn delicious. Ryan was shocked at first from my gesture then was blushing but did not tell me to move away so i was fine with his reaction. " This tastes like heaven, Ryan. " i told him smiling. " I am glad you like it. " " Oh yes, i also got something for you."" Something, for me? " " Yes dumbo thats what i said right. Here have this. " i said giving him the rose i got from him. He was beaming. " You got a rose for me, i am so happy.
Even though usually guys give roses to girls, Thank you. This means a lot to me. " he whispered shyly. " Anything for you, Ryan. "" You guys are so cute together. And also Roses are his favourite flower, especially red ones. He mostly had a vase filled of them in our old pack. " Ananya said breaking us from our trance. I totally forgot she was still here. " Thank you for the compliment " I said turning towards her and giving her a small smile. " So have you been settling in well? " i asked her, i really wanted to be on good terms with her since she was close to Ryan. And he obviously cared for her. " Yes, thats what we were just talking about. It has been a great change. I like it here. " she said in a dreamy tone probably remembering her mate. " Is my gamma, Ritvik treating you right? Although i know he is good, if he troubles you, you may tell me. " i asked her. Also i never let any pack member of mine treat their mate badly as they are a blessing to us from our moon goddess. " Ritvik is a total sweetheart, though we are still getting to know each other, i know he cares for me and worries all the time about me too. "
She replied smiling."Ohh that's good to know. " " Speaking of Ritvik, i should be going now, i think he must be back now from his training session." She looked towards me then Ryan. " Ok. But lets do this again sometime. " Ryan replied. " Sure. Whenever you want, i had be up for it. " she sarted getting up. I got up after her for courtesy and also because Ryan may want to see her to the door. Ofcourse i was proven right when he did so, i knew he was a proper gentleman. I settled back on the couch waiting for him to come back.
