the famous surgeon Nandini failed her surgery for the first time ever..It's the big black mark in her entire life...or she thought so.
It's not her fault or something... she knew it's not worth ..but she had to try the extreme possible to keep her only lifeline, her best friend alive...

she failed miserably...for the first time...that too with her best friend..

she lost her.

she can't able to breathe properly...her eyes were bloodshot and her hands were trembling...she want scream loudly and cry her heart out...but but she can't..she don't know how she's gonna live without her.

Nandini sat near the hospital bed where Aliya lying lifeless. the ECG machine line had already become straight..and the oxygen mass were removed.

"Aliya..wake up.."Nandini knew it's beyond impossible..but she can't help either.

"Aliya I'm sorry...I can't save you, save us.."

"I...all..Aliya"

no use..

Nandini started running outside the entrance..she can't able to see her friend like this..even though she is a doctor she is also a human...even after knowing it's her best friend, she look forward to do the surgery by so much courage.

but not now..

she sat on the stone bench
near the garden...closing her eyes extremely exhausted...

"hey babes" Aliya high pitched voice roared over the phone.

"stop yelling Aliya" Nandini cringed.

"had breakfast?" Aliya giggled and asked.

"I will..soon..and you ?"

" for God sake , Nandini go and eat something...It's already afternoon.
and you didn't even had dinner yesterday"

Nandini can't help but smile at her concern..

"okok..I will baba" she pacified her.

"listen Dr., promise me first" Aliya knew Nandini in and out...sometimes Nandini can forget her foods .she is that much dedicated to her work.

"Nandini promise ..and it's surgeon Aliya" Nandini giggled.

"ugh..whatever...okay bye"

"bye stupid"

Nandini sat up with a jerk as she was being pulled by someone.

she frowned and then realised that she is still in the hospital..

"mam, can we do the other formalities ?"the nurse asked.

"no...I think there must be someone who should know about this" Nandini said to herself.

"who?"

"her boyfriend."

"is he here , Dr?"

"soon will be"

the nurse smiled and left...

her phone rang loudly...The only number she can't either block or delete..showed as Manik.

she answered the call...

"I'm coming" is the only word he spoke..the line went dead.

his voice is hoarse and rough as if he is speaking so much with a pain..

she swallow the lump in her throat and sighed painfully...yet no teardrop left her eyes...
