I was at a safe distance from Afreen but still could see and listen her totally crazy right.... It feels like I am stalking her

Anyways what I heard was totally unexpected.....

Afreen was on the phone and it seemed like a serious discussion on something....

Ammi I think I won't get the job it's such a big company I am not fit for it Afreen said with sadness in her voice. What if we are not able to arrange money for the hospital will they not treat baba now that was something which caught my attention....

What does that mean? Is everything ok with her baba? No u stupid he is in the hospital my thoughts mocked me

Lost in thoughts I went to my cabin again and sat on my chair.

I hope everything is fine with her family. But why do I feel bad for her?

Maybe it's just sympathy.... Yaa right sympathy so you were following her without her conscience and few minutes back you were not at ease because of her
Wow.... Just wow Raheel my inner self said to me.

Battling with myself I decided to have a background check​ on her. So I called my private agent and asked him to have a background check on Miss Afreen Abbas and also every small details on her by tomorrow on my table with that I disconnected the call.

With the intercom I called the manager of the company Mr Aditya he was in his late forties and one of our most trusted employee

He knocked on the door before coming in and sitting on the chair.

Mr Aditya I want you to sent an appointment letter to Miss Afreen Abaas by tomorrow itself and ofcourse with the advance payment she deserves as my P.A

Now you may go I said in a calm tone to which he obeyed and let the cabin smiling...

Why was he smiling ?

Afreen POV :

I knocked on the door and in seconds the door was opened by Saba with a cookie jar and as usual one in her mouth totally a lovestruck moment with cookies 😅

Finally made my way and went to the living room and sat on the sofa totally exhausted. Saba then sat beside me and asked me about my interview....

To which I gave my honest opinion and said that I was not sure if I will be able to get the job or not to which Saba was positive that I can get the job.

After having a chat with Saba I went upstairs to freshen up and relax my tensed muscles.

After 10 minutes we all were in the dinning room waiting for lunch to be served. Soon ammi came with the lunch which looked delicious. Ya Allah biryani my all-time favorite❤

Soon I served myself with a full plate of biryani not caring about anyone and eating like there is no tomorrow

Soon I was full and Saba was too so we went to my room and laid on the bed. After an awkward silence Saba asked me something which made me think of him.

I was in my thoughts when Saba decided to end my la-la land world by snapping her fingers.

Afreen were are you lost? Dreaming about the CEO I guess with a mischievous smile on her face.

So now coming to the point how was the interview and most importantly how was the CEO 😋 Prince Charming ka naam kya hai?

Raheel his name slipped out of my tongue without my notice and a smile crept on my face to which Saba teased me.

Already a lovestruck puppy for him I guess.

Bolo na kya hua tha?

Flashback:

As soon as I entered I noticed that there were two of them taking the interview.One was in his late 50's And the other was in his mid 20's

As I made my way and sat on the chair I felt that someone was staring at me but I decided to ignore it and was confused to whom should I give the file and was deciding I felt him raising his brows at me but avoided it and handed the file to the older one

As he was checking my file  a call interrupted him and so he left the room to attend the call and I was left alone with him.

So Miss Afreen you don't have any job experience I see he said to me in a rough yet calm tone. His voice gave me shivers down the spine and I started fidgeting with my fingers.

But then I got a hold on myself and replied his question.

Ummm actually I needed a job really bad so I gave it a try other than that I think I am qualified for the job I said confidently but my insides turning into a roller coaster.

His voice was so husky I was in my own thoughts when someone interrupted and then I started scolding myself in my mind for thinking like that.

Raheel your ammi called she and Hayat needs to go somewhere so I have to leave. I hope you can handle everything he said and left the office

Meanwhile I was like oooh he is his dad and and seems quite strict though. Anyways I got to know his name from his dad and I was kind of happy..... Wait what? Happy? Why am I happy? Afreen you will be in deep trouble some day if you keep on thinking like that he is the boss of the company and never mind....

So where were we? Miss Afreen

Excuse me sir but you can call me Afreen I said with a smile

What did I just say? You will never get this job due to your unprofessional behavior I felt like crying.... What am I doing?

So Afreen you may leave now you will be called within a day or two if you are appointed as my P.A

Flashback ends

By the time I turned to see Saba...Guess what? She was sleeping not bothering much I too slept....

I woke up in the middle of the night to see Saba gone and wondering how I slept the whole day without even saying goodbye to her.

Next morning was an early morning for me so I decided to cook breakfast for me and ammi. By the time I was done with my cooking the door bell rang which left me wondering who could be here this early?
